William T. Raiff focuses on providing effective legal guidance and support to the firm’s real estate line of business. He is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of real estate-related legal matters. His responsibilities include drafting and reviewing real estate transactional documents, providing legal guidance on real estate and financing transactions, managing REIT compliance, managing litigation matters, and analyzing legal issues impacting the firm’s real estate line of business.
Prior to joining Boyd Watterson in October 2021, Bill was an attorney at a regional law firm and previously served as in-house counsel to a publicly-traded REIT. Bill has significant experience in representing commercial real estate developers, owners, and tenants on real estate transactions including commercial leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, financing transactions, joint ventures, and real estate development across various asset classes.
