Don Haisch is the Chief Financial Officer for Boyd Watterson Global and oversees all aspects of the strategic and day-to-day global financial operations. Don’s leadership responsibilities include corporate accounting, budgeting, financial planning and analysis, regulatory reporting, funding, treasury, and financial reporting for the management company, subsidiaries, and the funds. Don also supports and represents the firm with investors, regulators, and other external constituencies.
Don joined Boyd Watterson in December 2024. Don has an extensive background in both the alternative asset management and real estate spaces. Prior to joining Boyd, Don was a Chief Accounting Officer at Ares Management for over ten years where he worked in both the Real Estate Debt vertical and the Secondaries vertical. In the Real Estate Debt vertical, Don was responsible for Ares Commercial Real Estate Corporation (a NYSE listed commercial mortgage REIT) and was integral in the launch of two real estate debt open end funds. In the Secondaries vertical, Don contributed to the success and significant growth of Ares Private Market Fund (a private equity secondaries registered investment company). Prior to Ares, Don was the Senior Vice President of the Americas for six years at CBRE where he oversaw all accounting and finance across all CBRE transactional and management businesses in the Americas (CBRE’s largest region).
