Ashish Mishra is a Portfolio Manager responsible for the management of Core, ETF, and model delivery fixed income portfolios. His primary goal is to ensure that assets are invested in a manner that aligns with the client objectives and guidelines, aiming to exceed relevant benchmarks and competitor peer groups while mitigating downside risks. Ashish responsibilities also include executing trades across a wide range of fixed income securities through electronic platforms and direct negotiations, achieving the best possible execution, timeliness, and accuracy. Additionally, he holds the role of sector leader for mortgage-backed securities and provides essential quantitative support to the Fixed Income team, enhancing the investment decision making process.
Before joining Boyd Watterson in September of 2018, Ashish had a diverse career in the biopharmaceutical industry starting 2007, primarily focusing on product development and technology transfer. His early career included roles as a Research Scientist at NovelMed Therapeutics and Intas Pharmaceuticals Limited, and as a Research Assistant for Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited.
