Timothy M. Hyland serves as National Director of Sales and Marketing for all institutional and retail sales. Tim also serves as a Manager of Boyd Watterson Asset Management. Tim joined predecessor company Duff & Phelps Investment Management Co. in 1994 as Executive Vice President and National Sales Manager. Prior to joining the company, Tim held the position of Senior Vice President with McDonald & Co. Securities, Inc. since 1990. Tim joined McDonald & Co. in 1985 as an Associate Vice President and was elected to the firm’s Presidents’ Council for top producers in 1989. He began his career as an Account Executive with Smith Barney Harris & Upham in 1982 and holds a BS from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Michael E. Bee serves as an Executive Vice President for the Institutional Sales division. He also serves as a Manager of Boyd Watterson Asset Management. Michael joined Duff & Phelps Investment Management Co. (Boyd Watterson’s predecessor company) as a research associate in 1990. Michael has served in many roles between the company’s offices in Cleveland and Chicago, including senior investment strategist and large-cap equity and fixed income portfolio manager. Prior to joining the company, Michael was a senior financial analyst within the Corporate Trust Division of the Northern Trust Company in Chicago. Michael holds an MBA from John Carroll University and a BS, in Economics, from DePaul University. He is also a member of the CFA Society of Chicago and serves on the Investment Committee of the Laurel School for Girls.
Patrick J. Prato serves as Head of Advisor Channel Distribution. Patrick joined Boyd Watterson in 2017. Prior to joining the firm, Patrick worked for Emerald Asset Management where he was Senior Vice President, Director of Business Development. Patrick has more than twenty years of experience in sales, marketing initiatives, product development, and platform distribution within the RIA, family office, consultant, intermediary, and broker-dealer channels.
Theodore N. Hellmuth is a Portfolio Strategist for the Advisor Channel Sales team. Ted joined Boyd Watterson Asset Management in 2002. Prior to joining the firm, Ted held the positions of investment officer at Carnegie Asset Management Co. and partner at Roulston & Company. Ted holds a BS from Hillsdale College.
John Frady is a Senior Vice President and Director of Institutional Strategy based in Tampa, FL. Since joining the firm in 2018, John contributes to the firm in several capacities. His roles include working closely with institutional consultants to design tailored solutions for institutional investors, providing portfolio management services to clients utilizing multi-asset allocation strategies that combine Boyd Watterson’s fixed Income and real estate capabilities, and engaging in a variety of other client-facing activities and services. John is also a participant on the firm’s Macro Committee.
Prior to joining the firm, John was an institutional Investment Consultant at CapTrust Advisors where he provided consulting services to pension funds, insurance companies, foundations, and endowments. In 2018, John was named one of the National Association of Plan Advisors “Young Guns” Top Advisors under 40.
John received a Bachelor’s Degree with majors in Finance and Real Estate, as well as a Master’s of Business Administration, from Florida State University. While in Tallahassee, John won multiple varsity letters in Football playing for legendary coach Bobby Bowden’s Seminoles from 2003 to 2007.
Sean P. Glazier is a member of the Advisor Channel Sales team. Prior to joining the firm, Sean served as a Financial Consultant at brokerage firms E*TRADE Financial and Fidelity Investments in Los Angeles, CA, where he focused on financial planning and wealth management for High Net Worth clients. He holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BS in Finance from The Ohio State University.
Megan M. Soeder serves as Director of Marketing and focuses on institutional sales development. She joined Boyd Watterson Asset Management in 2006 and has held the positions of client service administrator and administrative assistant. Megan is currently finishing her BA from Cleveland State University.
Deborah J. Leet is a Senior Marketing Associate focusing on institutional sales development. Debbie joined Duff & Phelps, the predecessor of Boyd Watterson Asset Management, in 1994. Prior to joining the company, Debbie served as Sales Associate and Trader at McDonald & Co. Securities, Inc.
Amanda M. Macko focuses on Fund Operations. Prior to joining Boyd Watterson in 2013, Amanda was an investment operations associate at Northwestern Mutual, Northern Ohio. She holds a BA from Cleveland State University and an MBA from Ursuline College.
Heather R. Kelley is a Senior Marketing Specialist responsible for facilitating the creation and enhancement of firm-wide marketing efforts to promote the branding of Boyd Watterson Asset Management. Heather is the creative resource for the company’s marketing materials and website design, providing original solutions to all marketing campaigns. Heather joined Boyd Watterson Asset Management in 2011. Heather holds an MBA from Baldwin Wallace University and a BA in Organizational Communication with a Marketing Minor from Kent State University.
Elizabeth L. DeBarr is a Consultant Relations Associate for Boyd Watterson’s Institutional Sales and Marketing teams. Elizabeth joined Boyd Watterson in 2015 and, prior to her role in Marketing, served as an Analyst for Boyd Watterson’s Fixed Income Investment team. Elizabeth holds a BS from Johnson & Wales University.
John P. Hyland focuses on institutional sales development. Jack started at Boyd Watterson as an Intern assisting sales staff and portfolio managers for the institutional and advisor channel teams. Prior to joining Boyd, he was an intern at Strategic Value Bank Partners, LLC as well as AXA Advisors. His past experience includes assisting securities analysts and managing partners with a hedge fund for high net worth individuals and assisting financial advisors with retail client interactions. Jack holds a BBA from John Carroll University.
Ryan T. Willis focuses on institutional sales development. Prior to joining the company, Ryan served as a Venture Analyst and Business Analyst for SteelBridge Labs and Consulting in Pittsburgh, PA, where he was responsible for identifying and evaluating potential acquisition targets, conducting due diligence, and interfacing with brokers and company executives to close deals. For the Consultancy, he specialized in the analysis and documentation of business requirements and processes. Ryan also specialized in other consulting services for implementations and process optimizations for alternative investment clients. Ryan holds a BS in Finance from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.
